For a successful session, may we suggest that you: make appropriate clothing choices based on where the image will be displayed; choose color coordinated clothing for a group shot; think about the size portrait you will need relative to your room size; decide whether or not your portrait will be taken indoors or out; decide on the style of the portrait, i.e. contemporary or traditional.
