Sara and Tom's wedding day started at our studio with some preparation pictures and a private "first Look" moment. We then got started with lots of formal portraits and some fun outdoor shots including a recreation of the "Bridesmaids" movie promo shot. We then traveled downtown to North Coast Harbor with a quick stop at First Energy Stadium and then down to The Flats for some pictures before the ceremony. That is if they can get past the scary sharks in the aquarium! The ceremony and reception took place at the historic FirstEnergy Powerhouse which was built in 1892 with gorgeous views of the Cleveland skyline and bridges. Sara and Tom danced to Muse's "Madness" and then escaped for a few night shots with guests partied inside. Congratulations Sara & Tom! Black tie/vintage was the theme Sarah and Kevin chose for their fall wedding. The day started with preparation and a first look at the historic Tudor Arms Hotel. The hotel was built in 1933 has been painstakingly restored to in order to preserve its status as a historical landmark. The couple and their bridal party then headed to the Palace Theater and to East 4th St. for some portraits. The ceremony was held at another historical landmark, St. Patrick's Church, Bridge Avenue; which was founded July 2, 1853. Sarah's bouquet was adorned with several brooches and she wore jewelry all given to her by family members. The ceremony ended with a bagpipe recessional and then it was back to the Tudor Arms for dinner and dancing! Congratulations Sarah and Kevin! Yesterday evening we had the honor of participating in the St. Michael's Woodside Bridal Open House. Brides and their friends and family were invited for a food tasting and tour of the lovely facility. Catering by Verba’s has served St. Michael's Woodside for over 20 years. Guests enjoyed Mango BBQ Meatballs, Bourbon Pecan Chicken Tenders, Kielbasi & Kraut Sliders and a Potato "Martini" Bar. Pete from Troy Entertainment was on hand to provide music and a photobooth. Guests even got to sample a wedding cake made by Susan's Sugar & Spice. Special thanks to Mary Jane Lucak for inviting us!
